Daytime TV programmes are just plain awful! I switched on the tv briefly while getting dressed this morning to be greeted with Bigamist Husbands on Jeremy Kyle & too many 'Cash my goooold' adverts for my liking, Dale Winton you have really sold out! (not that supermarket sweep was any better!!!)
Luly and I had a nice lay in, she was a bit wriggly in the night and didn't sleep as deeply as usual, so I wasn't up for getting out of bed too early! My Mum (Granny!) came over and she drove us to Kings Lynn to see what the shops are like, as i fancied Tallulah some new tights. Ended up buying things I didn't know I wanted in TK MAXX, typical, after a lot of wandering and looking, a cauliflower cornish pastie, hot chocolate, caramel slices and lots of rain later we decided to head home! We ended up getting very lost and spent 40 minutes driving about urban kings lynn, we even made up a song about being lost in 'lynn' and got the giggles. By the time we discovered the way out I needed a wee, and Luly changing, so we stopped at a Mothercare we spotted on the outskirts. Managed to find some lovely tights and Mum bought Tallulah some utterly gorgeous vests with funky fruit on and spots and flowers and things! When i changed Tallulah in their baby change area there was another baby a bit older being changed, and the smell...oh my, I have all that to look forward to when Tallulah is eating food! Mum said I might just want to leave it as long as possible haha! Though I will never mind anything that Tallulah does, even stinky carrot poo, I will love it anyway!
When we got home it was SO WINDY that the rabbit hutch cover had completely vanished from the hutch and the garden, Tallulah and I held a little search party and we found it in a bush in the field next door! I hope they don't get too wind swept tonight, I put some extra straw in their bed befor I shut them in for the night.
By this time I was so ravenous I was nearly passing out, but I decided on having a bath with the baby, then she had a little nap while I cooked some food. OH Food.
I can't wait until the summer, every where I look in the house there is a nappy drying! It is my decor. I am looking forward to having them all blowing on the washing line when the sun shines and not hanging on every banister/radiator/door!
Time to relax now and have a Luly snuggle! Hopefully Max will come home tonight, he has a gig and we haven't seen him since wednesday evening! I can't watch Battlestar Gallactica without him!
